The devastating 2010 earthquake brought challenges. Anthony sought solace in the mountains of Petionville with his mother, while Ismarie embarked on an extraordinary journey. From an orphanage in Haiti to being adopted, she eventually found a new home in the United States.

In 2014, destiny intervened once more. A simple Facebook connection brought them together, laying the foundation for a profound relationship that would flourish over time.
